Who we are
Oscar Andrew Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning has been in business since 2000. The owner, Oscar Hernandez has over 20 years experience in the carpet cleaning business, having previously worked for major companies in the industry.
He started out initially as an assistant in the area of carpet cleaning and held jobs with several other companies installing carpet and repairing carpet.
After that time he obtained a job in a large carpet cleaning company where he gained several more years of experience in steam cleaning as well as upholstery cleaning.
Now the company has extended to the bay area starting 2026. We will now cover all of the bay area. To Carmel by the sea and Monterey to Santa Rosa. All of Silicon Valley and Oakland.
Our Training
Oscar has received hands-on experience and training from several large companies in the field. Over 20 years working in the business has brought him large amounts of knowledge in carpet cleaning as well as in customer satisfaction.
He has also taken it upon himself to learn as much as he can about the process of carpet cleaning and the theories behind it. He has taken several courses of instruction with IICRC in carpet cleaning, repairing and installation, & water damage restoration.
We also do volunteer training to help people care for their carpets.
About the Process
The process of steam cleaning includes the injection of hot cleaning solution under pressure into the carpet fibers followed by immediate extraction.
Steam Cleaning is recognized by more professionals, carpet manufacturers and fiber producers as today's preferred method for the most efficient soil removal. Present state of the art equipment enables high rates of production and less residue, provided proper Eco-friendly solutions are used.
